How to Check KPSEA 2022 exam results and reporting dates

KPSEA 2022 examinations started on November 28, 2022, and ended on November 30, 2022. A total of 1,253,577 students sat for Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) 2022 exams.
The ministry of education cabinet secretary today indicated that school fees for public boarding secondary schools must remain at Kenya Shillings 53,554 and Ksh. 40,555 for county and extra county schools.
Government capitation per public secondary school learner will be Ksh. 22,244 and Ksh. 15,000 per junior secondary school learner. Students joining Grade 7 in public junior secondary schools are not required to pay any school fee unless it is boarding fees.
School principals have been asked to use NEMIS to monitor and file reports of students reporting to schools each day. Students can only be admitted via NEMIS PORTAL if they have physically reported to the school.
Admission to Junior Secondary: According to the ministry of education CS Ezekiel Machigu, parents should note that learners will join Grade 7 in the primary school where they were enrolled in Grade 6. The ministry has directed school board management to sit down and come up with new school uniforms for junior secondary school learners to distinguish them from other primary school learners. Reporting date: Junior secondary schools will be opened on January 30th, 2023.
How to Check
Schools can check KPSEA 2022 results online through the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) exams portal from Tuesday, January 2023 using the procedure below;
- Visit cba.knec.ac.ke
- Login with school account details
- Under Grade 6, Click on reports
- You will see the results
To download the result slip for a specific learner, click on KPSEA slip, enter the assessment number and then click view.
If some learning areas are missing from the results slip, then contact the school head for help.
NOTE: There is no SMS code where each student can check their examination results as all students will be allowed to transition to junior secondary school without any restrictions. Parents should contact the school head to get examination results for their children.
