TSC Will Prioritize the Following Teachers for Recruitment in January 2023.

The process of hiring, paying, and promoting qualified teachers across the country falls under the purview of the independent institution known as the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

In January, TSC plans to hire around 30,000 teachers. Most of these teachers will go to primary schools to fill the vacuum left by upgrading teachers who were sent to secondary schools.

The TSC has already made the scoresheet for the employment exercise available to the public. Some sections of the unemployed teachers will stand to gain handsomely, according to the recently released scoresheet.

The Ministry of Education has been receiving funding from the government to ensure that TSC employs enough staff to help address the teacher shortage that has been affecting most schools.

The Commission, which is now led by Dr. Nancy Macharia as CEO, has worked very hard to make sure that schools have a sufficient number of skilled staff members

More than 6,000 permanent positions for teachers to serve in primary and secondary schools were promised by TSC in its most recent advertisement.
