TSC Advertises 10,819 Promotions: Guidelines and how to apply

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) acts as a Constitutional Commission, established according to Article 237 (1) of the Constitution. Operating within this framework, the Commission is inviting qualified teachers to apply for the positions mentioned below, in line with the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers.

Individuals who meet the specified qualifications are encouraged to submit their applications online via the TSC portal, accessible at www.teachersonline.go.ke.

Applications must be submitted by September 8, 2023. The selection process will not consider manual applications.

Importantly, successful candidates at the interview stage must present valid Chapter 6 documents before their appointments are confirmed.

Requirements for Appointment: To be eligible for this grade, a teacher should meet the following criteria:

Experience: Have served as a Primary Teacher I (T-Scale 6) for at least three (3) years.

Performance Appraisal: Have a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process .

Constitutional Requirements: Meet the conditions outlined in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

Additional Requirements: Satisfy any other conditions that the Commission considers necessary for the role.

Note: Candidates in arid and semi-arid lands (ASAL) and Hard-to-Staff counties, who have worked in the current grade for a minimum of two years, are eligible for consideration.
