The list of teachers who will conduct the national exams in 2023 is being compiled by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
The Commission is now gathering information about the teachers who will be responsible for administering exams through the curriculum support officers (CSO).
The details of the teachers must be filled up and submitted on an excel template by the school administrators.
These include :
- Name,
- Designation,
- TSC number,
- Job group,
- ID number,
- Current school,
- Mobile number,
- KRA pin,
- KPSEA,
- KCPE, and
- KCSE enrolment are just a few of the information needed from instructors.
A total of 28,408 teachers were employed as center managers
, 28,727 as supervisors,
74,990 as invigilators, and
5,647 as examiners for the 2022 examinations and assessments.
According to the Kenya National Examination Council (Knec), preparations for the 2.3 million students who will take this year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education national examinations are complete.

A total of 1,415,315 applicants will take the KCPE exam, and another 903,260 applicants will take the KCSE exam.
A total of 1,282,574 students in Grade Six will participate in the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), according to Knec Chief Executive David Njengere.
According to Dr. Njengere, candidate registration has been completed, the exam papers have been established, and they will be given out in accordance with the schedule.
To prevent cheating on this year’s national exam, Knec has also introduced new security measures.
The selection of all the exam papers for the day will no longer take place in the morning.
Instead, just the morning papers will be picked by center administrators, who are also the school leaders.
The measure, according to Ministry of Education insiders, is intended to limit early exposure to afternoon papers.
Knec is also under fire for the protracted delay in paying teachers after the examinations have been taken and the public has been informed of the results.

Existing users do not need to create new accounts.
You submit an application for invigilation through your school’s principal.
You can physically show up at the CSO and ask for a chance.
