RE:IMPLEMENTATION OF FREE DAY SECONDARY EDUCATION (FDSE)
To enhance efficiency in the programme, there is a need to update data on schools in this programme. In this regard, all secondary schools are required to fill out the application form again for the FDSE program. The application will be made on the form provided, with relevant copies of the documentation required attached.
The completed forms and attached data should reach this office on or before May 26, 2023.The reason for such an exercise is to be able to ascertain the number of learners not in NEMIS yet who are in CASSR and to capture new school characteristics like principals and school names that may have changed over time.
The purpose of this communication is to request that you coordinate this exercise and ensure that all schools submit their application forms. Every county director of education is expected to collect the forms, verify the details, and submit them to the director of secondary education.
