Fred Matiang’i, Keriako Tobiko’s Sitting Position After Meeting President Ruto Today
The ministry of interior and coordination of national government cabinet secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i and his counterpart in the ministry of the environment Keriako Tobiko met president William Ruto earlier today.
The two were among a host of cabinet secretaries who met the head of state in a cabinet meeting early this morning at State House and had frosty relationships with the head of state during the second term of former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s tenure.
In the State House meeting, the interior CS could be seen sitting on the left of the president. Unlike during Uhuru’s tenure where he was seen severally occupying the closest seat, he was far from the limelight this time.
He sat two seats away from the head of public service Joseph Kinyua even as his environment colleague Keriako Tobiko also sat next to ministry of Lands CS Faridah Karoney. Tobiko equally had tense relations with Ruto.
