NOMINATION OF THE SOLICITOR- GENERAL OF GOVERNMENT OF KENYA

It is most graciously notified that His Excellency Hon. William Samoei Ruto PhD., C.G.H, President and Commander-in- Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, has in exercise of the constitutional prerogative vested in the Head of State and Government nominated Mr. Shadrack John Mose, for appointment as the solictor-General.

This transmittal for parliamentary approval is made in accordance With Section 9(1) of the office of the Attorney-General Act (No. 49 or 2012) as read together with the procedure Set out In Sections 3 and 5 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act (No. 33 of 2011).

To aid the August House in its consideration and approval processes, kindly be pleased to receive the certificate of Presidential Nomination, together with the Nominee’s Curriculum Vitae and Testimonials as well as the report of the Public Service Commission on the recruitment.

In recognition of the unique role of the State Law office in our Governance structure, and mindful of the mandate of the solicitor General as the Deputy to the Principal Legal Adviser to the Government, the National ASSembly is most kindly requested to Consider he Nomination on a priority basis.
