Ugandan head of state Yoweri Museveni’s son General Muhoozi Kainerugaba who is a high ranking military official yester- evening kicked off intense online banter between kenyans on Twitter (KOT) and Ugandans.
This is after he made what can be described to be hollow remarks especially considering his stature as a leader.
In the series of tweets that have since gone viral, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba claimed that Uganda can easily capture Nairobi within a few weeks and that the Ugandan army is allegedly the strongest army in the region, remarks that he has repeatedly made online for a couple of years.
And now, the foreign affairs cabinet secretary nominee in president William Ruto’s government Alfred Mutua has come out to reveal that he has held a meeting with the Ugandan ambassador to Kenya.
According to the former governor, the two of them discussed a wide range of issues that borders on the relations between Kenya and Uganda. He declined to disclose further details. It is not clear if the meeting has any direct link with Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s tweets.
“This morning I shared a social cup of tea with Ambassador Dr Hassan Galiwango who is the Ugandan High Commissioner to Kenya. We discussed interesting matters. Mambo iko Sawa,” he said.
