Teachers have until October 18, 2022 to register with the Kenya National Examination Council if they wish to work as invigilators and supervisors in the upcoming national exams (KCPE, KCSE, Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).

According to a circular released by Teachers Service Commission (TSC), sub county directors must nominate teachers to man the exam including invigilators, supervisors and centre managers

“You’re required to identify, nominate and vet centre managers, supervisors and invigilators who will be engaged in the exercise and thereafter deploy them into the CP2 system by October 18, 2022 through the following link http://cp2.knec.ac.ke“ reads part of the circular dated September 20, 2022.

In 2021 national exams, TSC used 242,406 teachers to administer the exams while the Ministry of Interior deployed more than 45,000 security officers for the exercise.

KNEC has categorically stated that only teachers registered by TSC will be allowed to supervise and invigilate the exams. It has also stated that all measures have been put in place to ensure the 2022 national exams are conducted successfully.
