President Ruto Delivers a Powerful Speech In USA, UN General Assembly

President of the Republic of Kenya Dr. William Samoei Ruto on Wednesday, the 21st of September 2022 chaired the 77th United Nations General Assembly in the United States of America.
The president addressed Kenya’s issues and its interconnectedness to global concerns. Additionally, he recognized the pressing issues affecting the current economic and environmental factors in the country and across its borders.
Perhaps, this is the first meeting he attends since he took an oath of office as the fifth president of the Republic of Kenya on the 13th of September this year.
Consequently, he is among the new heads of state and government on the podium. The president touched on several issues in the current Covid-19 pandemic that has been a barrier to economic development in global concerns.
