TSC Issues Statement Immediately On what is circulating over CEO Dr Nancy Macharia
On Friday December 23, 2022 Teachers Service Commission (TSC) issued a Statement on replacing TSC Boss Dr Nancy Macharia.
This is after reports emerged that Dr Nancy Macharia has been replaced by TSC Director of finance Cheptumo Ayabei.
Teachers Service Commission urged teachers and Kenyans at large to disregard such information saying they are fake. Teachers employer have advised kenyans to search for accurate information on TSC website and social media channel.
“Beware of fake news. Usidanganywe. For accurate information please reach us on our website and social media channels,” read the update.
This is the second that reports have emerged on replacing Dr Nancy Macharia as TSC boss. In November such reports emerged in which it was reported that Dr Nancy Macharia had been replaced by the former Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) secretary general Wilson Sisioni.
Meanwhile Dr Nancy Macharia is still TSC boss and any information on her replacement treat it as rumours.
