Wajackoyah: I’m The Official Opposition Leader In This Country!
Speaking in Western Kenya on Friday, the former presidential candidate declared that he is now the new Joshua who will lead the people to Canaan.
“Mimi sasa ndio Joshua nataka kuwapeleka Canaan. Na tutafika huko Canaan manake Musa amechoka. Na tutaendelea kumheshimu Musa. I am the official opposition leader in this country!” he stated.
Raila Odinga, the long-serving opposition leader in the country, has always used the Canaan analogy as part of his campaign strategy.
There has been speculation about who might succeed Azimio chief Raila as the next opposition leader.
Wajackoyah went on to say that while President William Ruto is a good friend, he will reprimand and monitor his government if necessary.
“It doesn’t mean that when you’re an opposition leader you become an enemy of the government,” he said.
Wajackoyah went on to say that he will be Kenya’s next President.
He claimed that the sale of illegal brews educated many people and that President Yoweri Museveni had legalized the brew in Uganda.
Wajackoyah argued that if the illegal brew, popularly known as chang’aa, is legalized, it can be safely distilled to avoid the loss of lives.
Wajackoyah finished third in the presidential elections on August 9, trailing Raila and Ruto.
He ran on the strength of a manifesto that included a slew of contentious proposals, including the legalization of marijuana for commercial use.
He also stated that he would commercialize snake rearing in order to profit from the sale of venom.
