Professor Wajackoyah Finally Speaks After Failing to vote
Roots party leader Professor George Wajackoyah has expressed His frustrations on the IEBC following the happening today where He was not allowed to vote since the Kiems Kits failed to identify Him in His voting station in Kakamega, something that He terms malicious and frustrating.
Speaking to the press, Wajackoyah revealed that His personal information was not registered in the Kits, and the IEBC officials never had a very good explanation to give for the inconveniences. He added that His democratic right was taken away from Him since Dp William Ruto, Raila Odinga had casted their votes without fail, adding that He might go to court later if He will be forced to do the same, in order to seek justice.
“I am very disappointed with the IEBC because why didn’t they test their own kits to make sure they are working and avoid the disappointment since I was not able to vote? I am also a Kenyan and I can assure you that Ruto and Raila have casted their own votes. This might go another step, or do they want me to go to court? This Kits should have been tested earlier to make sure we have good progress. “Wajackoyah says.
He however questioned the happenings in Kakamega where Gubernatorial elections were postponed, saying that the ballot paper issue might have been suspicious since they fear that He might ruin their support now that Kakamega County is one of His own strongholds. He claimed that He was supposed to go to Nairobi directly, but He now has to go via Kisumu to inspect the situation and have another tickets which are very expensive, and He has to cater for it.
“Another thing that I am also wondering about is why the whole ballot issues took place in my own backyard in Kakamega, and Matungu sub County, and I am even suspecting that it’s a strategy to derail Me badly. What are these people afraid of? I now have to go via Kisumu today to make more inspections and that will mean taking another Airplane Tickets which are expensive. “He stated.
The Professor availed Himself today at His registered poling station to vote, where His identification failed due to the system failure and kims Kits issues.
